Feature Stonework on houses
There is nothing quite like using stone on a house to make it stand out from the crowd. Whether it be the entire house or one or two feature walls, incorporating natural stone is a guaranteed way to add elegance and a touch of class to your project.
Stone retaining walls provide a natural eye catching look that the more commonly used limestone blocks simply cannot replicate. Each rock is unique - a different shape, a different colour, in fact, no two walls are ever the same. In contrast to using stepped blocks, stone can be curved neatly to suit any area.
We can work with any stone. Our most popular are Donnybrook sandstone, Karratha stone and Ironstone (also known as 'coffee rock'). Sometimes the best stone to use is stone that is local to the area.
Natural Stone Paving
Stone paving is a timeless way to enhance your project and provides a classier alternative to the more mundane brick paving. Not only can you practically pave and link areas, but at the same time the paving becomes the feature itself. All stone paths are laid on a mortar bed. Karratha Stone (which is naturally flat) is commonly used for stone paving.
Stone work can provide the answer to many more building needs. We have previously had experience with building a number of different features suh as steps, property and estate entry statements, religious grottos, waterfalls, barbeques, woodfired pizza oven bases, bench seating, man-made streams, angled slope walls, pillars, fireplaces and children's playgrounds. The only limit is your imagination.
And much much more
Rock - It Landscapes also offer a full landscaping service. Our Kanga Loader and Tip Truck make easy work of the preparation and as well as the stone masonry, we offer thatched gazebos, rock garden edging, woodfired ovens, water features, reticulation, planting and mulching.
